What do you enjoy most about working at 211/LIFE LINE?
What I enjoy the most about working at 211/LIFE LINE is not just one thing. I enjoy the support we give to each other as a big work family. Working through COVID got us stronger and brought us closer together. The teamwork and the support we give to each other is what makes my job the most enjoyable. Also, hearing from our core teams that this is the best job they ever had because we are extremely supportive, and we see people as people and not just as one more employee.
What activities do you enjoy in your free time?/What is a fun fact about yourself?
What I enjoy doing on my free time when the weather is good is ride with my husband on his motorcycle. We also enjoy live music, outdoor activities, and going out to dinner with our almost adult children.
Why is mental health awareness important?
Mental health awareness is important because it helps break the stigma that leaves so many people suffering in secret.
Even though telecounselors handle difficult situations on a daily basis, they still have fun and stay positive!
